Let me be perfectly clear: classic debut ‘The Call’, follow-up ‘Passages’ and ‘Full Circle’ ALL AMBIENT CLASSICS!! I remember: after David Sylvian’s Gone To Earth - instrumental, and Harold Budd/Brian Eno’s ‘The Pearl’ and a few other ambient-masterpieces resonated with me for years, I started to collect and dive deeper and deeper into ‘ambient world’ so to speak.. ‘The Call’ by Resonant Drift got my attention I think through a recommend message on Amazon or whatever.. I was stunned immediately.. This album stands tall between albums by Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Steve Brand, Erik Wøllo, to name a few giants... This is painting with sound, and to me it could be the perfect soundtrack to a fantastic movie.. Pure ambient bliss that needs more attention here on BC! A no-brainer: buy this..., no I mean ALL albums!, you’ll want to thank me ; )
